The Arab World Institute (IMA) Friends Society brings together all those who want to support the actions of the Arab World Institute and its objectives, to work towards better knowledge and understanding of the Arab world, its language and civilisation in France.
The Arab World Institute (IMA) Friends Society has a two-fold goal:
- Bring together the greatest possible number of members (simple members, partners, benefactors, donors, depending on how much they contribute)
- Retain these members by offering them numerous advantages
Join or renew your membership to the IMA Friends Society
and benefit from the following with your membership card :
1) For subscriber members
- Receive documentation on the Institute's activities by post
- Free access to the museum and exhibitions
- Reduced rates for cinema and shows at the IMA
- 25% reduction on the annual borrowers' subscription to the library
- 20% reduction on some educational material
- 10% reduction on temporary exhibitions
- 10% reduction on IMA products in the library-bookshop and 5% on other products
- 10% reduction at the panoramic restaurant
- Preferential subscription to the quarterly magazines Qantara and al-Moukhtarat
2) For partner membres
In addition to the advantages offered to subscriber members
- Invitation to the opening of the major exhibitions
- Organisation of group visits with guide
3) For benefactor members
